Job summary

Dollarama in Granby, QC, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, coach and develop staff, manage merchandising, stock, and safety, and help with opening/closing duties and performance feedback. This role requires leadership and flexibility for a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Merchandising, stocking, and unpacking shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Perform cash management and opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks to the team and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
