Job summary

MINISO Canada is seeking a Store Manager for our Dartmouth Crossing location on a one-year contract. You will lead and mentor the store team, optimize operations, and drive sales while upholding exceptional customer service standards.

The role focuses on KPIs, inventory control, budgeting and staffing, with a hands-on approach to coaching and performance improvement in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
• Experience in small convenience/retail/grocery stores similar to MINISO Canada.
• Experience leading a team in a retail setting.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor all associates to optimal potential
• Monitor performance of team and train employees and provides coaching to improve performance
• Manage goods/inventory and ensure operations is run smoothly
• Actively seeks and sources for strong candidates
• Focuses on KPIs, sales goals and labour cost, developing action plans to achieve targets
• Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with proactively and logically, ensuring no customers leave the store unsatisfied
• Manage and motivate team to increase sales, meet sales goals and ensure efficiency, increasing retention amongst employees
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
• Ensure sales goals are met along with other important aspects
• Analyze and compare data for effective merchandising
