Job summary

Miniso Lifestyle Canada Inc. is hiring a Store Manager for a one-year contract at Dartmouth Crossing. The role leads and trains the store team, drives sales, manages inventory and ensures smooth operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of retail management experience, experience in convenience/grocery settings, and strong leadership, communication and coaching skills. Eligible to work in Canada.

Job description

We are currently hiring for an Store Manager (one year contract) position at Dartmouth Crossing.

Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead, train and mentor all associates to optimal potential
• Monitor performance of team and train employees and provides coaching to improve performance
• Manage goods/inventory and ensure operations is run smoothly
• Actively seeks and sources for strong candidates
• Focuses on KPIs, sales goals and labour cost, developing action plans to achieve targets
• Ensure all customer queries and complaints are dealt with proactively and logically, ensuring no customers leave the store unsatisfied
• Manage and motivate team to increase sales, meet sales goals and ensure efficiency, increasing retention amongst employees
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
• Ensure sales goals are met along with other important aspects
• Analyze and compare data for effective merchandising

Store Manager Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 years of experience Retail Management experience
• Experience in small convenience/retail/ grocery stores similar to MINISO Canada
• Experience managing team in Retail Setting
• Eligible to work in Canada

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven retail experience in beauty/cosmetics with a track record of hitting sales targets
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills
• Knowledge of beauty brands, market trends, product categories
• Organized, results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Self driven and motivated
