Job summary

Marks in Canada seeks a dynamic leader for our store team in Steinbach, Manitoba. You will coach, develop and motivate staff, deliver exceptional in-store and omni-channel service, and ensure adherence to pricing, loss prevention and safety standards.

You’ll plan weekly schedules, manage inventories, train managers, and drive initiatives from hiring to performance management. The role reports to store leadership; we offer a competitive salary range and a collaborative, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Coaching, mentoring and development of department and store teams.
• Ability to build and manage daily/weekly departmental and store plans.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Superior training and mentoring capabilities.
• 3-5 years of retail experience.
• High energy, enthusiasm and drive to succeed.
• Basic computer skills for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the team, coach and follow up to ensure service standards are met.
• Execute store operations including pricing, promotions, and loss prevention.
• Lead training and development programs for management and staff.
• Promote brand standards and maintain a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Create and monitor weekly schedules for sales and support functions.
