Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Storage Customer Service Representative in Richmond, BC to be the face of our service, assisting customers with unit viewings, rental contracts, and equipment dispatch/return using up-to-date technology. The role includes ensuring units are clean, secure, and ready for new customers.

Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills, plus availability on weekends and holidays. The position offers on-the-job education and various employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the site manager with facility operations.
• Answer phone inquiries from current and prospective customers.
• Show storage units, explain rental terms, and prepare contracts.
• Perform general routine property cleanup and minor repairs.
• Ensure vacant units are clean, dry, secure and ready for new customers.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
