Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) program preferred.
• Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.
• Previous clinical sterilization experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
