Job summary

Landmark Dental Centre in Kelowna is seeking a Sterilization Assistant to clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments following IPAC standards and provincial regulations. You will operate sterilization equipment, perform testing, and maintain documentation for audit readiness.

The role offers full-time, on-site work with a wage of $25/hour. Prior sterilization experience and MDRT or Dental Assisting training are preferred, with opportunities for growth within the Dentalcorp network.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or MDRT program preferred.
• Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.
• Clinical experience in a sterilization role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in IPAC procedures.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and perform required testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.
