Dr. Rachel Navaneelan & Associates in Cornwall, Ontario is seeking a Sterilization Assistant to join our dental team. You will clean, package, and sterilize instruments, operate sterilization equipment, and maintain accurate reprocessing records in a safe, organized area.

Experience with IPAC is an asset, and completion of Dental Assisting or MDRT programs is preferred. The role offers a supportive team environment with opportunities to grow in a modern practice dedicated to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in a sterilization role is considered an asset.
• IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) knowledge is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.

Schedule:

Monday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Tuesday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Wednesday: 8.00am - 6.00pm

Thursday: 8.00am - 5.00pm

Friday: 8.00am - 1.00pm

The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is$20-$25/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:
