Job summary

Sherwood Charlottetown Dental in Charlottetown, PEI, is seeking a Sterilization Technician to clean, package, sterilize, and store instruments in accordance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.

You will operate sterilization equipment, maintain records for compliance, and support the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow in a modern dental practice.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in a sterilization role is an asset.
• Completion of accredited Dental Assisting or MDRT programs preferred.
• IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in IPAC-compliant standards.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
