Job summary

Landmark Dental Centre in Canada is seeking a Sterilization Assistant to clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards. You will operate sterilization equipment, maintain accurate records, and support a safe reprocessing area.

The role requires prior clinical sterilization experience and may prefer credentials in Dental Assisting or MDRT programs. IPAC familiarity is an asset, and you will collaborate with the clinical team to maintain efficient

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience working in sterilization is considered an asset.
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting and/or Medical Device Reprocessing Technician (MDRT) program is preferred.
• Experience with IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments in compliance with IPAC standards and provincial regulations.
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment, completing required testing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized reprocessing area following health and safety protocols.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.

The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is$25/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
