Job summary

Sodexo Live! BC Place in Vancouver is seeking a Hospitality Zone Supervisor to lead a group of concession locations during professional sport, concerts and live events. You’ll connect frontline teams with event leadership, ensuring readiness, guest experience and safety.

This role offers hands-on leadership in a large-scale venue, with responsibility for inventory, staffing and in-event decision-making, plus opportunities to develop in a dynamic hospitality operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume hospitality, food & beverage, events or similar customer-facing operation.
• Leadership or team-lead experience preferred; first formal supervisory opportunity considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concession stands, bars or service locations within an assigned event-day zone.
• Lead Stand Leaders and frontline teams, providing clear direction and coaching.
• Ensure locations are fully staffed, stocked, organized and ready before gates open.
• Monitor sales, production, inventory and staffing; adjust priorities as needed.
• Partner with warehouse, culinary, beverage, POS/tech and leadership teams to resolve needs.
• Maintain food quality, temperature, sanitation and safety standards.
• Support a welcoming guest experience and resolve service concerns professionally.
• Maintain leadership presence and communicate across the operation via radio and in person.
• Review inventory counts, transfers and event paperwork for accuracy.
• Lead closing procedures, including storage and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, presentation and guest experience.
