Job summary

Dyson Canada is seeking an experienced supply chain leader to oversee finished goods and spare parts inventory and lead the Canada Supply Planning function. You will partner with commercial, finance and operations to ensure optimal stock levels and high service levels.

The role requires 8+ years in consumer goods supply chain, experience with SAP S4 and SAP IBP, and advanced Excel. You will drive continuous improvement, manage monthly demand planning, and share KPI dashboards with senior

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in supply chain, operations management, logistics or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a supply chain role in a consumer goods organization.
  • Proven experience analyzing and resolving inventory related issues.
  • Experience with SAP S4 and SAP IBP.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supply Chain operations team in Canada - including Order processing, Logistics and planning.
  • Member of Canada Commercial leadership working closely to support commercial needs.
  • Manage and optimize Logistics budget.
  • Support improvement projects in Supply Chain to drive cost optimization and Service improvements.
  • Work closely with refurbishment team to ensure availability of B grade products.
  • Ensure availability of Spares and accessories.
  • Ensure sufficient inventory levels across warehouse network to support promotional and baseline sales.
  • Identify and manage communication of supply constraints to cross-functional partners, and develop mitigation plans including inputs to allocation process.
  • Drive excess inventory reduction initiatives to support inventory and working capital targets.
  • Manage the monthly demand planning cycle for spare parts and accessories.
  • Maintain oversight of the statistical forecast output, and review adjusted demand based on data and market trends.
  • Liaise between Dyson Supply Chain headquarters, local sales, marketing, and finance teams.
  • Ensure demand for refurbishment operations is properly captured to support the production line.
  • Oversee the monthly supply planning and S & Op review process.
  • Drive customer service improvements by minimizing out of stocks.
  • Take initiative to resolve issues by developing and executing solutions.

About the role

This role supports Canada supply chain operations. You will be responsible for Finished Goods and/or S&A (spares and accessories) inventory. Salary: $127,000 - $159,000 annually + bonus opportunity
