Our client is looking for a meticulous and creative Sports Event Planner to manage and execute a portfolio of sporting events in the Northern Cape , based in Kimberley . This role operates on a hybrid model, offering the flexibility to plan remotely while overseeing on-site execution. You will be responsible for all facets of event organization, from initial concept and budgeting to vendor management, marketing coordination, and post-event analysis. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in event planning, especially within the sports sector, and possesses exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure successful, engaging events for participants and spectators alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute various sports events , ensuring all logistical, operational, and technical requirements are met.
• Develop detailed event budgets, track expenses, and manage vendor contracts and relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop and implement event promotion strategies.
• Manage event registration processes, participant communication, and on-site logistics.
