Klar So Nordic Spa at Elkhorn Resort Spa & Conference Centre in Manitoba is hiring a Spa Coordinator/Receptionist. You will welcome guests, handle check-in/out, answer phones and emails, and coordinate spa services with attention to detail. The role includes days, evenings and weekends with staff housing possible if occupancy allows.

Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required. The position supports a collaborative team environment and offers room to grow within the spa

The Klar So Nordic Spa is a complement to our existing spa facilities and we are looking for an energetic, friendly, and active individuals who can multi-task, work in a team environment as well as independently. This year-round position requires days,evening and weekend availability. Experience in retail and customer service will be taken into consideration, but is not required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Perform administrative tasks related to spa reception and manager requests;
• Coordinate and operate the spa robe and towel laundry;
• Regularly check the spa area for cleanliness, safety and client needs.
• Inspect the Spa and fix any issues or coordinate with other departments to be fixed;
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management;
• Assist in training new coordinators if requested.
• Properly open and close spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures;
• Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment;
• Send a supply request to the manager when the stock are in the minimum level to order;
• Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled in accordance with company policy;
• Answer phones and e-mails;
• Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation;
• Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments;
• Make sure that gift shop area and guest areas are in good order and tidy;
• Good working knowledge of English is required;
• Other duties as assigned;

Several staff perks that can be discussed and include a commission on some sales and percentage of the auto gratuities.

Training and a uniform tops will be provided.
