Job summary

Purolator in Kamloops is seeking an AM Sorter to support warehouse operations. You will sort freight by destination, weight, size and shape to meet client delivery schedules, unload freight from trucks, and prepare items for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is CAD 23.63 per hour, top rate CAD 29.23, and the role covers 27.5 hours per week. Location: 800 Laval Cres, Kamloops BC, in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Specialized education is not required.
• No experience necessary.
• Proficiency in English is required for daily communications.

Responsibilities

• Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor and from conveyor into curbside trucks.
• Unload freight off conveyor or chute for load‑out.
• Loads freight into linehaul / cube truck or trailer.
• Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles.
• Manually transfer bulk or non‑conveyable items.
• Scan all shipped or received mail or packages to identify improperly sorted packaged mail or packages and mail marked for priority or weekend delivery.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 2:00AM – 8:00AM, 30 mins unpaid break, 27.5 hours per week
