Job description
Job Duties
  • Support the design, deployment, and upkeep of SOC infrastructure on private cloud.
  • Help configure and maintain Fortinet Fabric products, including FortiAnalyzer, FortiSOAR, and FortiWeb.
  • Facilitate customer onboarding and troubleshoot data collection issues.
  • Monitor the performance, capacity, and security of SOC infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge management resources.
  • Aid in the development of automation processes and SOAR playbooks.
  • Collaborate with various product teams to address challenges related to SOC technologies.
  • Coordinate with the product Dev/QA teams to prepare and test new firmware releases.
Required Technical Skills & Experiences
  • Proficient in network and security technologies, with hands‑on experience in firewalls, SIEM, and SOAR; familiarity with Fortinet products is preferred.
  • Experienced in designing and configuring private and public cloud environments, with a preference for knowledge of OpenStack.
  • Solid grasp of IT service management processes, including configuration, change, capacity, and incident management.
  • Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems, with desirable skills in Bash and Python scripting.
  • Knowledgeable about SOC operations and the Incident Response Life Cycle, with prior experience in a SOC environment preferred.
  • Familiar with layered security principles across data, OS, and network levels.
  • Understanding of network concepts, protocols, and services.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software build management practices.

The Canada base salary range for this full‑time position is expected to be between $83,000 - $102,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
