Huron Tractor Ltd in Southern Ontario is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair used and new turf and compact construction equipment. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will help ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction across a busy shop floor.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, fault diagnosis, mechanical repairs, scheduled maintenance, and clear communication with customers about ongoing repairs.

Formación

• Valid small engine license (435A) required.
• 2–4 years of licensed experience on equipment.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Computer literacy and valid driver's license.
• Flexible to extended hours.

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible to diagnose and repair all used and new turf and compact construction equipment by completing the following:

• Inspect and test equipment, diagnosing faults and malfunctions
• Repair and replace mechanical units, test and adjust units to specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Deliver excellent customer service and work well in a team environment

Skills And Qualifications

• Small engine license (435A)
• 2-4 years of licensed experience working on equipment
• Strong electrical and hydraulic system knowledge required
• Ability to utilize and learn new technology
• Computer literate – internet, diagnostic programs/computers, etc.
• Valid drivers license
• Adherence to all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Flexible to work schedule and extended hours

The posted pay range reflects the skills and qualifications listed above. Candidates with higher or lower levels of experience, education or knowledge may be considered at a point outside the range.

Wage Range

• $25-$32 per hour
• Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be place outside the wage range
