Huron Tractor Ltd. in Stayner, Ontario seeks a skilled service technician to diagnose and repair turf and compact construction equipment.

You will inspect, test, and adjust units to specifications while performing scheduled maintenance and providing accurate customer updates. Ideal candidates have a Small engine license (435A), 2-4 years of licensed experience, strong electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and proficiency with diagnostic software.

Formación

• Must hold Small engine license (435A).
• 2-4 years of licensed experience on equipment.
• Strong electrical and hydraulic system knowledge.
• Able to learn new diagnostic technology and software.
• Computer-literate with diagnostic programs/Internet access.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Compliant with Health and Safety policies.
• Flexible to work a varied schedule and extended hours.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair turf and compact construction equipment.

Job Responsibilities

This position reports to the Service Manager and is responsible to diagnose and repair all used and new turf and compact construction equipment by completing the following:

• Inspect and test equipment, diagnosing faults and malfunctions
• Repair and replace mechanical units, test and adjust units to specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Deliver excellent customer service and work well in a team environment

Skills and Qualifications

• Small engine license (435A)
• 2-4 years of licensed experience working on equipment
• Strong electrical and hydraulic system knowledge required
• Ability to utilize and learn new technology
• Computer literate – internet, diagnostic programs/computers, etc.
• Valid drivers license
• Adherence to all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Flexible to work schedule and extended hours

The posted pay range reflects the skills and qualifications listed above. Candidates with higher or lower levels of experience, education or knowledge may be considered at a point outside the range.

Wage Range

• $25-$32 per hour
• Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications
• Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be place outside the wage range
