Job summary

M and J Woodcrafts in Delta, BC is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to support packaging, loading and inventory flow for our cabinet door and moulding production. You will inspect and pack finished pieces, coordinate with teammates, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires forklift operation, reliability, and the stamina to lift 30–40 pounds and stand for long shifts. Overtime may be needed and a team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• On-time and reliable.
• Experience working around equipment and machinery.
• Can lift 30-40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, etc. for 9 hours a day.
• Must know how to operate a forklift.
• Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products as per instructions.
• Work closely with other team members to assure orders are packaged in a timely and orderly manner.
• Review all pieces scanning for any potential quality defects before packaging.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Other duties as required.
• Unload/load trucks.

M and J Woodcrafts, has been supplying cabinet manufacturers with custom cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and mouldings since 1980. We pride ourselves on producing high-end quality products and going above and beyond for our customers.

Job Role:

The Shipper/receiver performs a variety of tasks ranging from cleaning and inspecting doors, packaging individual pieces, palletizing orders, loading, and receiving production materials.

Duties include:

• Package finished products as per instructions.
• Work closely with other team members to assure orders are packaged in a timely and orderly manner.
• Review all pieces scanning for any potential quality defects before packaging.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Other duties as required.
• Unload/load trucks.

Shift:

• The regular shift is Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with every second Friday off.
• Overtime may be required.

Skills and Qualifications:
