Job summary

Advance Paper Box Ltd. is seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our logistics team on a term contract. The role supports the Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely shipping and receiving of all orders and to assist other production departments as needed.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, inventory checks, and coordinating with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries. Previous manufacturing and forklift experience are assets, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Experience in loading/unloading and handling goods in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience operating a forklift and clamp truck to safely move loads.
  • Comfortable using a computer and handling numbers.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Load/unload trucks and verify incoming goods, report discrepancies.
  • Fulfill customer orders for daily outbound shipping.
  • Move raw materials to designated warehouse locations.
  • Conduct inventory and cycle counts; maintain warehouse organization.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and filing of packing lists and related documents.
  • Assist with movement of products up to 50 lbs using forklift or hand jack.
  • Collaborate with drivers and other shipper/receivers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Advance Paper Box Ltd. is looking for aShipper/Receiverto join our team, who will provide support to the Logistics Coordinator to ensure timely shipping and receiving of all incoming and outgoing orders and to help other production departments as required.

Advance Paper Box is a fully integrated folding carton manufacturing facility including design, die-making, printing, die-cutting, and gluing. Our customers range from food and pharmaceutical manufacturers to computer software and automotive supply companies. Shift Schedule: Mon to Fri- 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
NOTE: This is a term position from Sep 14, 2026 to Oct 16, 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Loading/Unloading trucks. Inspect and verify incoming goods/record shortages and damaged goods, and immediately report discrepancies to carriers and the logistics coordinator.
  • Fulfill customer orders for daily outbound shipping.
  • Responsible for delivering all the incoming raw materials to designated spots in the warehouse.
  • Perform inventory and cycle count checks in the warehouse.
  • Perform maintenance of the warehouse on a regular basis.
  • Maintain organization and filing of paperwork, including but not limited to packing lists, waybills, purchase orders, and others.
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and ensure movement of products and materials (up to 50 lbs.) using a hand jack or by forklift only.
  • Collaborate with the company truck driver and other shipper/receivers to ensure timely delivery of products and raw materials to another location.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Previous manufacturing experience, as well as experience driving a forklift, is an asset.
  • Must be able to use a forklift and clamp truck to safely load and unload trucks.
  • Must be comfortable working with a computer and have a good grasp of numbers.
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision and in a team environment.
  • Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Physical Capabilities:
  • Must be physically fit to load and unload trucks at regular intervals
  • Some heavy lifting is required up to 20 lbs
