Job summary

M+J Woodcrafts Ltd. is seeking a Day Shift Working Supervisor to lead the shipping/receiving department and partner with Customer Service and the Plant Foreman.

You will organize the team, prioritize daily shipments, oversee packaging, perform quality control, recount orders for accuracy, and support machine operators while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. This role is full-time on site in Delta, BC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with ERP systems.

• Recount orders to assure piece counts are correct before shipping.

Job description

We are looking for a Day Shift working Supervisor who will be, the leader of our shipping/receiving department, and working closely together with Customer Service and the Plant's Foreman.

Duties

• Organizing/instructing department/team.
• Organizing/prioritizing shipments for the day.
• Packaging/shipping finished doors.
• Quality control.
• Recount orders to assure piece counts are correct before shipping.
• Assist Customer Service Department.
• Assist machine operators with saws/routers/press.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Other duties as required.

Skills And Qualifications

• On-time and reliable.
• Can lift 40 - 70 lbs and stand, walk, bend, etc. full day.
• Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision.
• Must know how to operate a forklift.
• Minimum 5 year experience with ERP systems.

Shifts

• The Day shift is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with every second Friday off.
• Overtime may be required.
• Very clean environment.
