Starbucks is seeking a Shift Supervisor to assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. As a team lead, you will deploy partners, delegate tasks, and ensure the Starbucks Experience with prompt service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote Starbucks culture and mission.
• Maintains calm demeanor during high volume to keep store operations up to standard.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by evaluating environment and cues.
• Communicates information to manager for a Third Place environment during each shift.
• Helps with new partner training and coaching as needed.
• Provides feedback on partner performance during shift.
• Fosters positive team environment and communicates morale changes to the store manager.
• Delivers legendary customer service by putting customers first.
• Directs opening and closing duties and organizes shift tasks.
• Follows cash handling, safety, and security policies for shift.
• Ensures proper cash management practices and checks in with baristas.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality; delivers quality beverages and food.
• Adheres to health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Recognizes and reinforces team achievements and suggests improvements.
• Uses operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
