Job summary

Starbucks in Ontario, Canada is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support the store manager and lead the shift team in delivering the Starbucks Experience with legendary customer service, quality beverages, and a clean, welcoming store environment for every guest.

You will direct the work of partners, train new teammates, and ensure smooth store operations during scheduled shifts while following cash handling, safety policies and company guidelines to uphold our standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
• Ability to direct the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity and promotes Starbucks culture and mission.
• Maintains calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations standard.
• Anticipates customer and store needs and cues.
• Communicates information to manager for shift execution of the Third Place environment.
• Assists with new partner training and coaching.
• Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance.
• Recognizes changes in partner morale and communicates them.
• Delivers legendary customer service and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Organizes opening and closing duties during shifts.
• Follows cash handling, safety, and security policies.
