Job summary

Tim Hortons in Ontario is seeking a shift supervisor to oversee crew activities during afternoon and evening periods, ensuring Tim Hortons' standards for people, product, cleanliness and exceptional customer service.

The role is full-time, non-exempt hourly, focusing on operational supervision to maximize guest satisfaction, maintain inventory, safety and policy compliance, and provide clear direction to staff throughout the scheduled shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of Tim Hortons products and procedures
• Current certification in approved food safety training (Advanced.fst or ServeSafe) is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to consistently adhere to policies/procedures
• Able to operate effectively in a fast paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Leads by example to prioritize the customer and reinforces positive behaviors with employees
• Responds to customers in a friendly manner with appropriate urgency
• Handles customer service complaints promptly and professionally
• Provides direction to employees and ensures optimal staffing during shifts
• Oversees store cleanliness, product displays, and stock levels
• Ensures compliance with Tim Hortons operating standards, food safety, health and safety policies, and employment laws
• Monitors safety and delegates shift tasks to maintain smooth operations
