Job summary

Ricki’s in Grande Prairie is seeking a Store Team Leader to take full responsibility for the store during assigned shifts, leading a team to meet sales goals and deliver a superior customer experience. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will coach staff, maintain visual merchandising, handle POS transactions, and ensure safety and loss prevention while delivering outstanding service to every customer.

Flexible availability and 1–2 years of retail leadership experience with strong communication

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience; leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent customer service and selling skills.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, including visual merchandising and loss prevention.
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise and fixtures up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and achieve sales goals, including opening/closing procedures.
• Provide on-the-floor leadership in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and promote the loyalty program.
• Coach and provide feedback to sales associates to improve performance.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and handle POS transactions.
