Reitmans in Prince Albert is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team, drive daily operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience on the shop floor.

You will coach staff, monitor KPIs, manage inventory and merchandising, and support omnichannel initiatives to boost sales and brand growth. The role requires strong organization, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and a passion for fashion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a team in retail or customer-focused environments.
• Proven ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and to engage the team in upholding the highest service standards.
• Strong skills in organization, planning, and prioritization.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Inspire and develop a high-performing team on the sales floor.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and prioritize customer satisfaction.
• Monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and support store goals and brand growth.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training team members; support succession planning.
• Manage inventory, compliance, and procedures with strong organization.
• Maintain appealing displays aligned with presentation standards; optimize product displays.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve operations and profitability.
• Foster a positive culture and engage employees; ensure dress code compliance.
• Assist in planning floor coverage and daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Support omnichannel initiatives to maximize sales and seamless customer experience.
