Job summary

Starbucks Shift Supervisor is responsible for assisting the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts and leading partners to deliver the Starbucks Experience with legendary customer service.

You will model guiding principles, train new partners, coach for performance, and ensure cash handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity and promotes Starbucks culture and mission.
• Maintains calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations on standard.
• Communicates information to manager to respond to shift needs.
• Assists with new partner training and provides coaching as needed.
• Delivers legendary customer service and maintains the Third Place environment.
• Executes store operations during scheduled shifts and handles opening/closing duties.
• Ensures cash handling and safety policies are followed.
