A prestigious Canadian university seeks a teaching assistant for the Biomedical Ethics course. The candidate will run weekly tutorials, prepare and grade assignments, and hold office hours. This course, PHLB09H3 - Biomedical Ethics, is an examination of moral and legal problems in medical practice, biomedical research, and health policy. Topics include concepts of health and disease, patients' rights, informed consent, allocation of scarce resources, euthanasia, risks and benefits in research, and others.
Salary: $54.27 per hour (exclusive of vacation pay) in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
Appointment Dates: January 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026.
Sessional Dates (including exam periods): January 5, 2026 – April 24, 2026.
