Role Description
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will make an impact by being an excellent Solution Architect with ServiceNow. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow team and work collaboratively with the manager, primary team, and other stakeholders.
The ServiceNow Solution Architect provides mentorship and thought leadership to both our client and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. A Senior Solution Architect has a high level of understanding in scripting and app development, including familiarity with web services, APIs, and mobile application design.
- Lead and mentor other developers (business, information, application, software, technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality.
- Fulfill technical designing, crafting, documenting, and communicating the integration approach of all components of the architecture.
- Research and analyze capabilities and propose solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across Business Lines.
- Educate clients and collaborate for the right technical solutions.
- Deliver a positive and helpful experience to clients in every interaction.
- Assist in the prioritization and understanding of new opportunities, designing tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
- Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality.
- Act as the final delivery point for technical decision-making within a program.
What you'll do:
- Build teams that can complete tasks.
- Offer technical mentoring and mentorship to other developers/architects.
- Define domain-specific evaluation processes for hiring that fit market needs.
- Interview to screen and identify the best candidates.
- Periodic evaluation of team capabilities.
- Define emerging skills that the team needs and identify training needs.
- Align resource requirements based on demand projections.
- Record resource training and development plans in partnership with HR.
What you bring to the role
- A degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is beneficial, or equivalent experience with significant related IT and leadership experience.
- 4+ years working on the ServiceNow platform.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
- Knowledge of ITIL v3 required.
- General Consulting, Service Management, and Software Development experience required.
- 4+ years of multiple platform configuration.
- 2+ years of senior technical experience.
- Experience preferred: ITSM, ITILv3. Certifications preferred: Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.
