Job Title - ServiceNow Solution Architect

Role Description

As a ServiceNow Solution Architect, you will make an impact by being an excellent Solution Architect with ServiceNow. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow team, working collaboratively with the manager, primary team, and other stakeholders.

The ServiceNow Solution Architect provides mentorship and thought leadership to both our clients and internal resources in platform design, integration design, development standards, platform management methods, and technology strategy consulting. A Senior Solution Architect has a high-level understanding of scripting and app development, including familiarity with Web services, APIs, and mobile application design.

• Lead and mentor other developers (business, information, application, software, technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality.
• Design, craft, document, and communicate integration approaches for all architecture components.
• Research and analyze capabilities, proposing solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies.
• Educate clients and collaborate to identify the right technical solutions.
• Deliver a positive and helpful experience to clients in every interaction.
• Assist in prioritizing and understanding new opportunities, designing tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
• Ensure all artifacts, configured technical components, and personal interactions are of the highest quality.
• Act as the final technical decision-making point within a program.

What you'll do:

• Build and lead teams capable of completing tasks.
• Provide technical mentoring to developers and architects.
• Define evaluation processes for hiring that fit market needs.
• Interview candidates to identify the best fit.
• Periodically evaluate team capabilities.
• Identify emerging skills and training needs.
• Align resource requirements with demand projections.
• Record training and development plans in partnership with HR.

What you bring to the role

• A degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology, or equivalent experience with significant IT and leadership background.
• 4+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
• Knowledge of ITIL v3.
• Experience in consulting, service management, and software development.
• 4+ years of platform configuration experience.
• 2+ years of senior technical experience.
• Preferred: ITSM, ITIL v3 certifications; Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist.
