Description

Reporting to the Business Solution Manager, IT Service Management within IT Services, the ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for providing strategic direction regarding the organization's internal ServiceNow platform, focusing on IT hardware asset lifecycle management processes and solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Review business requirements and determine the best-fit solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
2. Assess the current state of ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management Database (AMDB), guiding alignment with out-of-the-box functionality and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
3. Create, review, and update user stories to guide ServiceNow developers effectively.
4. Document and oversee changes to the ServiceNow platform and its integrations.
5. Enhance testing strategies and propose comprehensive end-to-end tests for CMDB/AMDB and integrations.
6. Identify opportunities for out-of-the-box reporting and performance analytics.
7. Collaborate closely with IT Asset Management Process Owner, IT Solution Architect, and Systems Developer to determine optimal solutions for proposed needs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) products
• Knowledge and implementation of the CSDM
• Integration with third-party data sources such as Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager
