Job summary

Raise is currently hiring a ServiceNow ITOM Specialist in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to lead the planning, design and hands-on implementation of ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping and CSDM 5.0 for our client.

The role requires 5+ years of ITOM experience, strong workshop facilitation, and solid knowledge of MID Servers, CMDB data quality and cross‑team collaboration. Contract runs from Dec 2026 to Nov 2027 with hourly pay CAD 110–120.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery and CMDB implementation experience.
• Experience leading or facilitating technical workshops.
• Strong understanding of MID Servers, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, and CSDM.
• ServiceNow ITOM/Discovery/CMDB certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate technical planning, requirements and design workshops.
• Translate requirements into practical designs and implementation plans.
• Configure and implement ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules and related ITOM capabilities.
• Support CMDB improvements, CI relationships, IRE, CSDM and data quality.
• Collaborate with server, network, security, cloud and application teams to resolve dependencies.
• Configure CMDB health Dashboard, CI Class Manager.
• Troubleshoot Discovery, connectivity and credential issues.
• Develop testing, validation and deployment approaches.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.
• Identify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout implementation

Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.

Description

The ITOM Specialist will support the planning, design and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, with a focus on Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM 5.0. This is a hands‑on project role requiring strong technical knowledge combined with the ability to facilitate workshops, develop implementation approaches, and work across technical teams to deliver solutions.

• Configuring CMDB health Dashboard, Ci Class Manager.
• Troubleshoot Discovery, connectivity, credential and configuration issues.
• Develop testing, validation and deployment approaches.
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.
• Identify risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement throughout implementation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Hands-on ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery and CMDB implementation experience.
• Experience leading or facilitating technical workshops.
• Hands on Experience is modifying OOB Patterns
• Strong understanding of MID Servers, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, and CSDM.
• Good infrastructure knowledge across Windows/Linux, networking, VMware and cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, solution design and stakeholder engagement skills.
• ServiceNow ITOM/Discovery/Service Mapping/CMDB certifications are desirable.
