Job summary

Acestack is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Specialist to design, implement, and govern the CMDB stack in Toronto. You will ensure CI data accuracy and governance while aligning with CSDM principles.

This onsite, full-time role collaborates with infrastructure, applications, and IT service teams to maintain CI information and CMDB health. The ideal candidate will drive remediation, governance processes, and best practices to ensure data completeness and compliance across the CMDB

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM Specialist to manage the design, implementation, maintenance, governance, and overall health of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will ensure Configuration Item (CI) data is accurate, complete, compliant, and properly represented through defined classes and relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB architecture.
• Manage Configuration Item (CI) classes, attributes, and relationships.
• Ensure CMDB data quality, completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Monitor and improve CMDB Health metrics, including completeness, correctness, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain CMDB governance processes, standards, and best practices.
• Identify data-quality issues and implement remediation strategies.
• Ensure CMDB structures and relationships align with CSDM principles.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cloud, and IT service teams to maintain accurate CI information.
• Support ongoing CMDB improvement and governance initiatives.
