Job summary

A leading IT services firm in Canada seeks a mid-senior level expert in ServiceNow. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB structures, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing the service mapping process. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 7 years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB and an analytical mindset to effectively communicate with stakeholders. The position is contract-based and requires a strong understanding of ITIL processes. Competitive pay rate is offered.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery, including administration and customization.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Service Mapping, including troubleshooting and pattern design.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, especially Change, Incident, and Problem Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB structures.
• Integrate CMDB with IT Asset Management processes for ITIL v4 alignment.
• Lead root cause analysis of discovery or mapping failures.
