Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipelines & Pipelines Strategy: Design, implement, and continuously scale data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines while translating technical system specifications into working applications.
- Full Lifecycle Development: Author highly detailed programming specifications, write clean code, compile data-driven software packages, and conduct thorough unit testing.
- Operational Troubleshooting: Identify, resolve, and troubleshoot technical application failures that arise during system operations, platform conversions, and environment migrations.
- Platform Enhancement: Drive strategic platform architecture reviews and technical governance frameworks to transform enterprise-level ServiceNow footprints.
- Deployment & Change Management: Coordinate technical releases, administer software patching schedules, oversee system cloning, and manage platform documentation.
Technical and Experience Requirements
ServiceNow Development (40%)
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
- Extensive experience building custom applications, specialized workflows, complex ecosystem integrations, and automation solutions.
- Deep mastery of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within Agile and DevOps infrastructure delivery.
ServiceNow Architecture, Strategy & Roadmap (30%)
- Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow platform experience, featuring 3 to 5 years spent in core solution architecture and platform governance roles.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), data schemas, and security access layouts.
- Working comprehension of advanced ServiceNow modules including ServiceNow AI, Automation Engine, Predictive Intelligence, and Virtual Agent frameworks.
ServiceNow System Administration (30%)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience administering ServiceNow instances inside complex, high-volume enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate platform upgrades, execute instance cloning, manage release patch mapping, and audit overall system health.
- Comprehensive knowledge of access control lists (ACLs), user roles, groups, system configurations, and performance optimization rules.
Critical Must-Haves
- Direct development experience with ServiceNow Portals and Customer Service Management (CSM) modules.
- Active certification as a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR).
Preferred Certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations, IRM, or equivalent)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or ITIL v4 Foundation designations are highly valued.
