Job summary

OpenRoad Auto Group Limited in Vancouver is seeking a Service to Sales Team Member to support dealership operations and sales conversions. You’ll engage service clients, assess vehicle needs, and facilitate upgrades while coordinating purchase paperwork with approved appraisals.

You’ll work within a collaborative, customer-focused team offering training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth in a rapidly expanding automotive group.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with others professionally.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) with record-keeping ability.
• A current VSA MDC License or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• A valid British Columbia Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the Dealership’s Goal of appraising vehicles and communicating ownership options to 90% of service clients; follow-up on opportunities.
• Provide exceptional customer service and determine each client’s vehicle needs by listening and asking questions.
• Demonstrate value of current vehicle and potential upgrade to clients.
• Coordinate purchase paperwork on the client’s behalf with approved appraisals and sales confirmation.
• Pass off clients upgrading to sales team and ensure a seamless handoff.
• Maintain knowledge of products, features, prices, and options; participate in training.
• Use closing techniques and seek management help when needed; stay profit-minded.
• Ensure client happiness to retain business and support monthly goals.
• Attend department meetings and follow safety policies; perform other duties as assigned.
