Job summary

Bosch Truck Group Inc. in Calgary is seeking a Service Technician (Diesel Engine) to support fleet maintenance and repairs with a focus on Cummins engines.

You will review repair orders, gather tools, and perform diagnostics to ensure quality service. This role requires a Red Seal Heavy Duty or Truck and Transport Journeyman qualification, Cummins certification, and about five years in the truck and transport industry.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in the truck & transport industry.
• Cummins engine diagnostics experience.
• Red Seal or Journeyman certification in heavy-duty trucking.
• Commitment to professional conduct and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to diesel engines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Document findings and completed work, communicating any additional issues discovered.
• Close out repair orders accurately and support smooth transitions to next jobs.
• Mentor technicians and apprentices, sharing skills and guiding their development.
• Promote a safe work environment by encouraging proper practices and maintaining tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

The Service Technician (Diesel Engine) is responsible for supporting our customers with their fleet engine maintenance and repairs including the following:

• Prepare for each service job by reviewing repair orders and gathering tools, information, and parts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to dieselengines following established procedures and safety standards.
• Restore vehicles to proper working condition and ensure your work area is clean and organized.
• Document all findings and completed work and communicate any additional issues discovered.

• 5 years’ experience working in the truck and transport industry.
