This position requires working in the field based out of the New Minas, NS location.

Eastlink is seeking a Service Technician to join our team in New Minas, NS. The successful candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to this area.
As part of our technical team, the Service Technician will provide excellent customer service by identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing service issues in the outside plant for both forward and return paths. This includes faults from the mainline to the customer’s premises that could impair service operation. You will work to maintain our outside plant network efficiently, aiming to deliver the high-quality services Eastlink is known for.
Eastlink provides in-house technical and safety training, along with training on specific services, which will increase with experience to ensure your success.
The ideal candidate is a professional, customer-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You should be a graduate of a recognized Electronics program. Industry repair and maintenance experience, NCTI or SCTE training are assets. You must demonstrate a commitment to safety and occupational health practices. A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required, as well as the ability to travel regionally. A drivers abstract and criminal background check will be part of the recruitment process.
