Job Title: Service Technician I

The Service Technician I is responsible for providing technical assistance to VC3 clients. They respond to client inquiries, run diagnostic programs, identify problems, and implement solutions within a defined scope of support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow “The VC3 Way” standards and processes to ensure predictable results for clients.
  • Provide end-user support via phone, email, and webchat.
  • Triaging inbound service requests using an ITIL-based model.
  • Fulfilling IMAC requests (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes).
  • Troubleshooting issues with Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and other applications.
  • Assisting with password resets, account management, and email updates.
  • Managing workstation reports, spam/phishing investigations, VPN setup, printer issues, and network troubleshooting.
  • Supporting hardware, server, and network device issues.
  • Following up with clients to ensure resolution and escalating issues as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update documentation and support guides.
  • Manage service tickets and participate in team meetings and on-call rotations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • At least 1-year experience in technical support or customer service, or recent technical education.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Office 365, Windows Server, and related technologies.
