Job summary

Western Tractor Company Inc. in Lethbridge, Alberta, is seeking a Service Technician to keep agricultural equipment in top condition and perform on-site field service and in-shop diagnostics.

You will diagnose and repair John Deere machinery, perform routine maintenance, and support customers with technical expertise while maintaining safety and working as part of a cooperative team.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy Equipment or Agricultural Equipment technology is required.
• Minimum 4+ years in agriculture equipment repair or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics tools.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education: Journeyperson Certificate –Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or AgriculturalEquipment Technician (AET).

Experience:4+years in agriculture equipment repair or a relatedfield. Previous John Deere agricultural equipment andproduct experience is anasset.

TechnicalSkills: Proficiency indiesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems,and computer-based diagnostic tools.

People-Focused:Teamplayer with a friendly, professional attitude and focus oncustomer service.

SoftSkills:Attention to Detail, strong timemanagement, ability to work independently, andadaptability.

PhysicalCapability:Ability to lift, carry, push,and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing andwalking.
