Job summary

Orillia Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our busy dealership service department, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles per dealership standards.

Applicants should have Journeyman certification or be in 4th Year Apprenticeship, strong diagnostic/repair skills, and a reliable, team-focused attitude. GM experience is a plus. We offer competitive pay, ongoing training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman certification or 4th Year Apprentice status.
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
  • Reliable, professional, and team-focused attitude.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy service department.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
  • GM or dealership experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Complete routine services such as oil changes, brakes, tires, fluid services, and inspections
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate recommended repairs with the service advisor team
  • Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

As a Service Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while following dealership and manufacturer service standards.
