The role suits a Journeyman Technician or a 4th Year Apprentice who thrives in a fast-paced service department and communicates effectively with the service advisor team. Valid driver’s license required; GM or dealership exposure is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification or 4th Year Apprentice status.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Reliable, professional, and team-focused attitude.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy service department.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• GM or dealership experience is an asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Complete routine services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire service, fluid services, and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Communicate recommended repairs clearly with the service advisor team.
• Test drive vehicles when required to confirm concerns and completed repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentationKeep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Support a positive and productive service department environment.
