Job summary

Dhilmar is hiring for an underground service miner at Eleonore Mine in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. You will supply materials to underground bays and support ongoing operations, driving equipment and ensuring safe, efficient storage and fuel bays.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0–2 years in mining, completion of specific mining modules, and valid explosives and driver’s licenses. The work site operates on a fly-in, fly-out model with 14 days on, 14 off.

• Hold a valid explosives and driver's license.

About the role

The service miner is part of the mining operations team. He or she is responsible for supplying the underground storage bays and ensuring the availability of materials to complete the work.

• Supply equipment to underground storage bays.
• Maintain shelters, equipment bays and fuel bays.
• Operate machinery such as mast trucks, jeeps, tractors and wheel loaders.
• Respect, know and promote the company's regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety.
• All tasks related to the performance of duties.

Training & Experience

• High school diploma and/or combination of relevant education and experience
• 0 to 2 years underground mining experience
• Completion of mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
• Hold a valid explosives and driver's license

Working Conditions
