Job summary

Dhilmar seeks a Blaster for Eleonore Mine in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. You will be part of the mine operations team ensuring loading at production sites runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include cleaning and loading long hole drill holes, participating in underground construction, and upholding health and safety regulations, with a focus on performing duties effectively and safely.

Qualifications

• Hold a vocational diploma in mineral extraction.
• Three to five years of mining experience.
• Modular training card for mining workers.
• General explosives license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Bilingualism (English/French an asset).

About the role

Training & Experience

Working Conditions

• Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
