Dhilmar is seeking a construction miner for Eleonore Mine in Rouyn-Noranda, QC. The role covers building and maintaining mine infrastructure, following plans and specifications, and upholding safety regulations on site.

The position supports a fly-in, fly-out schedule with 14 days on and 14 days off, based at Eleonore Mine, 1751 rue Davy, Rouyn-Noranda. Prior mining construction and safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional Studies Diploma in ore extraction.
• Five to ten years of experience.
• Mining modules 1 to 5 and 7.
• Valid driver's license.
• Welding and oxygen cutting competency card.

About the role

The construction miner is part of the mining operations team. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the construction and maintenance of the mine infrastructure.

• Carry out all work related to the construction of mine infrastructure
• Apply instructions on plans and specifications
• Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety
• All other related tasks

Training & Experience

• Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience

Working Conditions

• Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montréal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
