Job summary

Eleonore Mine is seeking personnel to support material supply, equipment setup, and basic maintenance at the Rouyn-Noranda site. The role involves operating a material truck, Jeep, tractor, and wheel loader, with a focus on safety and adherence to site policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 0–2 years in underground mining, with mining modules 1–7 completed and a valid explosives permit and driver’s license. Bilingualism in French and English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in underground mining is preferred.
• Completion of Mining Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 is required.
• Valid explosives permit and valid driver’s license are required.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

Working Conditions

• Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)
• Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
