Job summary

Nors Group in Red Deer, AB is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with the branch manager, recruit and mentor staff, and drive improvements in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role focuses on planning, people development, and KPI‑driven management within a Monday–Friday schedule. A strong leadership presence and technical acumen are essential to grow with the team.

What's the challenge?

As the Service Manager, you play an integral role in managing the day‑to‑day operation of the service department in compliance with the company’s established policies and procedures. As well as ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety program. Working with the branch manager, you play a key role in attaining the company’s short and long‑term objectives. As part of the leadership team, you play a key role in recruiting and developing our employees.

Position Outline

• Forecast and plan service requirements in conjunction with the Branch Manager
• Recruitment and People Development
• Leadership Development
• Conduct monthly service meetings to communicate company objectives and policies
• Determine repair methodologies and job flows to maximize the efficiency of the service department, and to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and department profitability
• Work Order Processing
• Measure department performance with appropriate metrics and achieve set goals
