Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a Service Coordinator in Prince George, BC, to be the central point connecting customers, technicians, planners, supervisors, and support teams. You will ensure service work is planned, communicated, executed, and completed efficiently, while maintaining exceptional customer service.

You will manage documentation, schedules, and reporting, coordinate resources and transportation, and support warranty and billing activities.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in service coordination, project coordination, administrative, operations support, or dealership environment.
  • Experience supporting construction, forestry, mining, oil and gas, industrial equipment, transportation, or service operations.
  • Knowledge of repair processes, maintenance planning, parts coordination, or warranty administration is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service jobs from initiation through completion and invoicing.
  • Create and manage work orders, job documentation, and service records.
  • Monitor job progress, schedules, budgets, and customer commitments.
  • Communicate regularly with customers and internal teams regarding repair status and timelines.
  • Support service planners and supervisors with job execution and scheduling activities.
  • Coordinate transportation, contractors, third-party services, and site access requirements.
  • Track and update service systems to ensure accurate information and reporting.
  • Identify risks, delays, or issues that may impact customer commitments and elevate when required.
  • Participate in pre-job, mid-job, and post-job reviews while documenting action items.
  • Assist with warranty administration, billing activities, and job close-out documentation.
  • Ensure service records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Job Description: What You'll Do

As a Service Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping maintenance and repair projects on track by managing documentation, coordinating resources, and ensuring stakeholders are informed every step of the way.
