Job summary

Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage (2119 110 St NW) is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team. We offer competitive wages and growth opportunities.

You will install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires, reset TPMS, and assist in inventory. Must have 3+ years in automotive tire industry and be able to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the automotive/tire industry.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to develop and maintain relationships with team members and customers.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms and operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Resetting and repairing TPMS.
• Maintaining tire service equipment regularly.
• Complete specialty tire work (studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Fountain Tire Edmonton Heritage (2119 110 St NW), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the automotive/tire industry
• Must be able to work Saturday's
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
