We are currently hiring a Service Advisor based in our Burnaby location.

Role Overview

As a Service Advisor, you’ll be one of the first people our customers meet when seeking advice to protect their homes, travel, and ensure safety on BC’s roads. Your responsibilities include recommending memberships, travel, and auto insurance to meet their needs.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in person and over the phone, promoting BCAA insurance products and services, including memberships, travel insurance, ICBC, and auto insurance.
  • Collaborate with Support Teams and Underwriting to recommend appropriate coverage.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities for customers’ life events and future needs.
  • Work with team members to provide exceptional service and meet sales goals.
  • Participate in training to increase industry knowledge, maintain licensing, and stay updated on products and services.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in sales and service environments.
  • Level 1 Insurance license (or a commitment to obtain within 45 days, supported by BCAA).
  • Completion of Autoplan Essentials (or a plan to complete within three months, supported by BCAA).
  • Good standing with the Insurance Council of BC, with limited Errors & Omissions history.
  • Comfortable with technology, including MS Office Suite.
  • Bonus: CAIB certification, knowledge of ICBC systems, multilingual abilities.
Additional Details

Application deadline for internal applicants is May 16, 2025. Salary ranges from $41,278.32 to $51,597.96, with performance bonuses up to 21.5%. This is a Grade 5, full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth.
